It is hard to believe he has been gone for four years. Even harder to believe how forgotten he already is by most "beer writers."

Absolutely agreed. The $15 you'd spend on this would go much further elsewhere, and certainly it's a shame they're charging anything for this.

This is clearly a money grab. Its good that they offer this and that you can learn about beer, but in my opinion? Michael Jackson's World Guide to Beer, and and or his Beer Companion really are the only two books you will ever really need to know the fundamentals about beer. In those two books, MJ literally covers it all. Of course you can build upon it with the wealth of free beer knowlege that is out there, but it really all starts and frankly ends with Jackson's work when it comes to real authority on the subject.

This book is just a phenomal read. Packed with information, a must to have in any beer library and the most impressive "beer book" I have read since one of Jackson's works. Its that good in my opinion.

Sounds great! I love spicy mustards as well, and ones with beer in them? Got lots of mustard at home at the moment, but when my stocks run low, will keep this one in mind. Prost!!

Well said. The beer world will not see the likes of Jackson again. In his field he truly was a towering figure, and one who earned the respect and love of thousands. The legacy he left us will stand the test of time, and beer is seen as the glorious drink it is in not small part due to Jackson and his work. I will always remember the man, not the legend, and toast him each and every March 27th. Cheers.

Finally watched and enjoyed it very much. It is amazing how much of the market AB Inbev owns. One out of every two beers sold in the United States is an AB Inbev product. That is scary, and why more than ever I will give none of the "Big Three" any of my dollars. I'll buy local, I'll buy regional and I keep a close eye on the imports I buy.

I remember years ago the defunct Hope Brewing Company had a "brewers bread" made for them at a local bakery. I believe they were using the spent grains from their Red Rooster Ale. It was delicious. This looks good, and I know I would buy it if I saw it!
