Zatte Bie pours to a murky brown color with a light creamy tan head
formation and a sweet cookie-malt nose. The palate is extremely rich with
notes of chocolate cookie-like malt and a very sweet brown sugar character.
There are notes of sweet dates, raisin, toffee, licorice, honey, and cotton
The beer finishes decidedly sweet. Don’t look for lots of hops here. You will find a very rich and warming beer however, one perfectly suited for warding of the chills of a cold winter’s night.
And remember, try a new beer today, and drink outside the box.
